Turkey Coast

Turkey is surrounded by three seas: the Black Sea to the north, the Mediterranean to the south and the Aegean Sea to the west. The beaches on the Aegean coast are the most beautiful of Turkey, surrounded by a limpid and pure sea, by rocky cliffs, olive groves and pine forests. The Turkish coast offers nice harbors and wonderful bays accessible by boat.
The classic boat for a holiday in Turkey is a gulet, a traditional sailboat built entirely of wood, with a length ranging from 15 to 35 meters, which has cabins with private bathrooms to accommodate from 6 to 24 people (from 3 to 12 double cabins). This is the most relaxing way to take a cruise boat: open spaces, sundeck with lounge chairs, bar, fine cuisine and a crew who will spoil you from dawn to dusk.

Wesuggest you the following three routes: Cariana coast, Datca coast and Lycian coast.

Bodrum

The Datca Coast overlooks the Gulf of Hisaronu, packed with so many islands accessible from Marmaris, with its white sandy beaches. Sailing to the Isle of Arap you can enjoy a swim in the turquoise waters and finally arrive in Bozukkale, where you visit the ancient fortress with its 9 temples. The tip of the Datca peninsula presents a very picturesque place, with 2 twin bays and the ruins of Knidos, with excavations of any historical period.
After visiting Datca, we set sail for the Bay of Bencik, placed at the narrowest part of the peninsula that divides Hisaronu Gulf from the Gulf of Gokova. From here you get to Orhaniye Bay, where you can admire a unique scenery of natural formations caused by the tide, called "Kiz Kumu". Going back to Marmaris, you can stop in Bozburun, once popular for sponge fishing (not very profitable business, now abandoned).

Fethiye

The Lycian Coast, with the famous king tombs carved into the rock and the beaches of Iztuzu where sea turtles lay their eggs. From there you can reach the Gulf of Fethiye, where you will find the most evocative bays in the world. To be seen the Island Tersane, Manastir Bay and the bay of Cleopatra, finally arriving at the port of Fethiye. Fethiye, one of the most beautiful cities of the Lycian Coast, extends along a semicircular bay which is protected by 12 islands. Mandatory step is the Bay of Bedri Rahmi where you can see many ancient tombs.
Another site not to be missed is the bay of Göcek, a genuine paradise in the Mediterranean Sea, surrounded by islands with a breathtaking scenery. Here sea lovers get lost among the many colors of nature. Our cruise can not end without seeing the Yassica Island, with its shallow waters, and the Isle of Domuz, ideal for night anchorage thanks to its position protected from the winds.

La Bottega del Mare offers sailing yachts, catamarans and motor sailors for your holiday in Turkey. Our experience in nautical tourism gives you the possibility to choose the best boats on site. Contact us for a detailed quotation.
